Ohh Sunday brunch and pancakes!

Hey hey,

Hmm Sunday sounds great for pancakes! Actually every moment sounds great for pancakes but anyway hehe.

Think of the best company you could have and the ideal brunch you could eat! This Sunday reminds me of something like that…family time with pancakes. In Greece it’s a tradition that on Sunday’s families gather to have lunch together. In my family we really try for this, as Sunday is the only day that the five of us are at home, at the same time.

So, this Sunday we decided to satisfy our belly’s with some sweet and delicious homemade pancakes. Brunch at home seems to be an ideal time as it fullfils your stomach until evening.

Now it’s the time where I will reveal the magic:

It only takes 20 minutes!

The ingredients you will need:

  • 1 1/2 cup of milk
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup butter

Now, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl. Whisk eggs, butter and milk. Pour the flour mixture into the wet ingredients and whisk until lumps are gone. Then take a pan and add a bit butter to it. Let’s begin!! Put the first pancake to the pan. Then, check the edges and use a spatula to flip it over. Leave it for 2-3 minutes on each side. Then repeat the procedure for the whole mixture.

You are ready! We served them with praline and white chocolate and on the top…crushed OREO cookie! Just delicious!!!
